Lace & daisies

May is almost the beginning of hot sunny summer. The air is full of flowers' aroma and mint sea breeze. This is the time when I should like to reread same books which I’ve already read. I'm in love with the writings of Somerset Maugham. He had that supreme felicity of phrase in which he had no equal. Sometimes I feel like I can find answers to all my questions in his books, I may see some well-tuned phrases which are more than usual to me and appeals to my heart greatly. This is a particulary precious thing in reading any book.

На пороге солнечного лета. Воздух наполнен ароматами цветов, свежестью морского мятного бриза. Хочется быть нелогичной, перечитывать одни и те же любимые книги. Когда я читаю, бывает, попадается место или даже фраза, которая приобретает исключительный смысл для меня, становиться особенно полезной, оседает в памяти. За это не обыкновенное свойство я и люблю книги.
